Kalie Jamieson
Kalie was born and raised in Alabama, where she started dancing at the age of three. She studied a variety of dancing styles, including jazz, tap, and contemporary before transitioning to train professionally in classical ballet at Huntsville Ballet School and Walnut Hill School for the Arts. After taking several years away from dance, Kalie returned to the dance world to study the labor and bodily relationships of pre-professional ballet training for her PhD in Anthropology. Upon her move to Madison, Kalie got involved in the dance community, taking classes in heels, choreo, and jazz funk, and performing in DELVE 2026 and Shifting Gears 2026! She is beyond excited to be a part of Isthmus Dance Collective and create community and enact change through dance.
